General Retail Collection 1 - Product Info & Where to Find!

After a long time of plotting & scheming with my corporate overlords, the very first Rainylune retail collection is now available at retailers nationwide!

,,,unfortunately, nobody tells me which retailers have the new collection, or which specific items they have.

This post will list out the new items, confirmed sightings, suspected sellers, & more!

There are 18 total items in Collection 1, and each retailer has likely chosen only a few items. Here is a list of every item from Collection 1! some of these have better photos than others, sorry!

Plushies

	Son the Frog (with a knife) 8 inch plushie He’s mean, he’s not green, and he’s ready to make you scream(???)
	Son the Frog Huggable (aka Long Frog) overlords decided to rename long frog to something that makes more sense to retailers. this version is a nice and reasonable 24 inches tall. i hope to one day convince the overlords to make a super ridiculously long one, though 😈😈
	Son the Frog (but he has very long limbs) long limbed Son makes his triumphant return!! this time without the magnetic hands, but his limbs are still very long and very posable.
	Friend the Frog 7 in Mochi Plush This is a remake of the default pose Friend mochi plush! The old version made by me will be discontinued once sold out.
	Friend the Frog Strawberry 6 in plushie he brought you a snack 🥺
	Sprout the Frog 6 in plushie this is Sprout’s first ever bigger-than-a-keychain-sized plushie!! he has never gotten a default pose plushie before, please be kind to him!!
	Son & Friends Blind Box (BB) Plushie Keychains Potential keychains you can get: Son (with a knife), Friend, Sprout, & NPC Tadpole!! technically the npc is a froglet and not a tadpole due to having lil legs but corporate has decided to call him tadpole for the sake of clarity. so frog lovers don’t come at me for this
	Kissing NPC Frogs Blind Box (BB) Plushie Keychains (with magnetic tongues 👅) i’ve been bugging my overlords for over a year to make these and I’m so excited they’re finally out!!! each blindbox comes with 2 npc’s who are kissing each other. they are connected via their magnetic tongues!! you can also stick them to random magnetic surfaces for various shenanigans. potential blind box picks: Pink & Green Blue & Purple Black & Yellow Strawberry poison dart frog & green + black poison dart frog

	Mushroom Friend Totebag a nice canvas tote with a super big and super soft Friend decal on the front pocket!! i’ve been using it as basically a giant purse and it is great for holding many many items!!
	Strawberry Friend 7 piece Stationery Set comes with: Reusable clear plastic pouch a small lined notebook post it notes 1 sticker sheet 3 individual stickers mechanical pencil strawberry scented eraser!!!!!!

If you see any of these new products at a store in person, snap a pic & send it to me on social media!! this is pretty much the only way I’ve been able to know when stuff is in stores 😅

also please note: the titles of all these items are not universal. so what I call the “Son & Friends blindbox” might have a completely different name on the Barnes & Noble website for example. some of these items might even list the entirely incorrect character on the listing 💀 next time i’ll insist on standardized names 😔

Rainylune

I will have 8 out of 18 of the total items! They should be arriving early February. Here are the items I will have:

Based on what I’ve seen from photos folks have sent, they seem to have the following items:

• Son & Friends blindboxes
• Son (with a knife) plush
• Friend Strawberry plush
• maybe the Sprout plush but i’m not 100% sure

Books a Million

same as 2nd & Charles

Barnes & Noble

From photos I’ve seen, they appear to have:

• Son & Friends BB
• Kissing Frogs BB
• Sprout Gacha spiral tabbed notebook
• Friend mochi plush
• Friend with knife enamel keychain

I suspect that they might also have the Strawberry Friend stationery pouches since I am maybe 50% sure that they were developed for Barnes specifically, but my memory is bad so don’t quote me on that?? they aren’t on the site so maybe they haven’t arrived yet???

Suspected frog dealers

none of these places are confirmed, but I have reason to suspect that they might carry some of the items:

• Kinokuniya
• Maido Stationery
• Attic Salt
• random stores that carry kawaii goods. specifically if they have official US licensed rilakkuma, sumikko gurashi, or other san-x characters then there’s a good chance they’ll have mine!

FAQ

• Will any of these be available at international retailers?

  • Uncertain. Some smaller businesses might order them in the future, but as of now I don’t know about any contact made with larger stores outside of the US.
  • the best way to get the new collection if you’re outside the US will be via my online store 😉 (or the online stores of other retailers listed above, but i am biased towards the first option 😉)

• Will this collection be available at Daiso?

  • nope! Daiso likes to have Exclusive collections that are Just for them. since this is a “general retail” collection, it will be sold by various different stores! daiso will only ever have items designed exclusively for daiso!

• Will any of these be restocked at retailers or your online store?

  • no clue, nobody tells me these things 😔 The kissing NPC BB seems to be very popular, so my best guess would be that those guys will get restocked.
  • if something does super well on my site, I’ll check if I’ll be allowed to purchase more!
  • Some of these items are meant to be “permanent” fixtures and part of a Core Collection that will be available for a long time. These are things like the default character plushies. Other items are more seasonal and are likely to retire more quickly than others!

• I searched rainylune on the website of one of the listed retailers and nothing came up, but you said it’s in store??

  • ¯\(ツ)/¯ i’ve got no clue when / if these retailers will list any of these items on their sites. i’m going off what ive seen from photos!!

• I checked [store you listed above] and didn’t find the item I wanted!

  • unfortunately i don’t know how the retailers handle their stock. They might have sent certain goods only to certain stores, or they might have already sold out. You can always try telling an employee how much you want them to carry Rainylune - the store manager might be able to request some from headquarters! 😉
