This is a defective pin. It might not have a backing card. Enamel pins are individually handmade, and have a higher rate of manufacturing errors. Possible errors include:
• specks of dust or scratches on enamel
• uneven sanding (making some metal look larger than the other side of the pin)
• over/under filling of color, or forgetting to fill a color
• the stabby parts of the pin being wiggly
• color that is wrong
• vibes that don't pass the vibe check
they aren't perfect, but still deserve some love. most of the time, the errors aren't That noticeable, but still enough that it can't be sold at full price.
